The Benefits of Rosemary
I don’t know about you but when I think rosemary, I think roast lamb. Rosemary is a herb commonly used in cooking for its fragrant flavour – but aside from its culinary appeal, it has a number of benefits for the skin – and has been used to heal various ailments for centuries. Rosemary has been used to treat digestive disorders and headaches, and is currently being investigated as a treatment for Alzheimers Disease. When used in skin care products, rosemary has the effect of increasing blood circulation and improving the functioning of skin cells, as well as toning the skin and acting as an astringent, so it’s excellent at balancing combination skin and as a firming ingredient in anti-aging skin care. Two components of rosemary thought to be responsible for these effects are caffeic acid and rosemarinic acid, both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents.

Why? = This product is a MUST for jet-setters. Not only does it tone and refine the skin, as all toners are made to, but it has the added benefit of soothing ingredients like cucumber and chamomile, which calm, de-puff and revitalise. No more red, irritated skin or puffy eyes when you touch down! This toning mist also contains floral waters of rose and neroli to add moisture (so it keeps your skin hydrated too), and lavender to balance. We road-tested this on a recent longhaul flight and it was absolutely fantastic. No redness or puffiness what-so-ever – our bloodshot eyes were the only giveaway!
Best Product for Busy Mums = Balm Balm Fragrance Free Face Balm 
Why? = This product is a multi-use miracle. Made with the simplest and gentlest of ingredients, it’s made as a moisturiser for very sensitive skins, but also doubles as a glossy lip balm, hair smoother (yes, it works – we’ve tried it!) and more importantly, a gentle and safe balm for baby’s skin. New mums can keep this little tube in their handbag and throw away their lip balm, hair serum and baby lotion! It’s a time-saver and a much safer and gentler alternative to commercial baby products, containing only shea butter, sunflower oil, beeswax, calendula and jojoba oil. Beautifully soothing and beautifully simple! = Just what frazzled mums need.

Product Review – ‘The Little Alchemist’ Anti-Aging Eye Complex
As soon as you pump some of this eye cream onto your finger and start applying it, the first thing you’ll notice is the beautiful smell. It smells like… creamy coffee and flowers, all at once.
Be sure to apply it gently, by patting it on underneath the eye area (as with all eye creams).
We applied this one at night, and woke up to smooth, soft, supple-looking and feeling eyes. It honestly is that quick.
As soon as you’ve applied the product, you can feel it sinking seamlessly into your skin, and if you touch the area after you’ve applied it, you’ll notice how soft and smoothed it feels.
A beautiful product for smoothing out lines and brightening the eye area. Wonderful for people with crows’ feet around their eyes, dry skin, or dark circles.
This product is not only a pleasure to use, but it also conveniently contains 3 of the most potent and effective anti-aging ingredients available:
Argireline, a unique new peptide that both reduces the degree of existing facial wrinkles and has been demonstrated effective against their development;
Hyaluronic Acid, a compound that occurs naturally in every tissue of the body (as we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and the ability to hold sufficient water. Feeding new hyaluronic acid to skin helps hydrate skin’s intercellular reservoir, smoothing down age lines); and
